Delete Your Account

Wahaj — AI Skincare Analysis

You can request deletion of your Wahaj account and all associated data at any time. We respect your right to control your personal information and make this process simple.

Option 1: Delete From Within the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Wahaj app:

Open the Wahaj app on your device
Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner
Go to Settings
Scroll down and tap Delete Account
Confirm by entering your password
Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Send an email to WahajApp@outlook.com with the following:

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
The email address associated with your Wahaj account
Your full name as registered

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your Wahaj account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Account information: Name, email address, password, and profile details
Skin profile: Age, gender, skin type, concerns, and lifestyle data
Face photos: All uploaded images used for skin analysis
Scan history: All skin scores, AI analysis results, and routines
Diary entries: All journal photos and notes
Streak and progress data: Daily check-ins, hydration logs, and routine completion records
Chat history: All messages exchanged with the AI skincare expert

What Data May Be Retained

For legal, security, and fraud prevention purposes, we may retain limited information for a short period after account deletion:

Transaction records: If you made any purchases, billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations
Security logs: Anonymized access logs may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and security monitoring
Backup systems: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently overwritten

All retained data is anonymized where possible and stored securely. None of this data is used for marketing, profiling, or shared with third parties.

Cancellation of Subscriptions

If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Google Play or the App Store. You must cancel your subscription separately:

Google Play: Go to Google Play Store > Subscriptions > Wahaj > Cancel
App Store: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Wahaj > Cancel
